# How to request a Junk B Gone pickup for a customer

Junk B Gone has hauled away furniture, appliances, yard waste and whole-home cleanouts in Seattle and most of western Washington since 1989. Jobs run Monday through Saturday; we answer the phone seven days a week.

Junk B Gone will contact the customer by text, email or phone within an hour during business hours (7 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day) to confirm a time and price. Nothing is booked until they agree.

## Check the address

We serve most of western Washington. To check one address, look up its ZIP: GET /api/agent/service-area?zip=98117 returns whether we serve it, and the office confirms when we contact the customer. Full list: [Service areas](https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/areas-served/).

## Ask the customer first

The form asks for these, in this order:

1. First and last name.
2. Mobile number.
3. Email.
4. Street address, unit if any, and ZIP.
5. When: today, tomorrow, this week or flexible, or a preferred date (morning, afternoon or any time).
6. What needs to go, and how we get to it: stairs, elevator, how far from the street.
7. Photo links, if they have public ones (optional).
8. Roughly how much: one item, or about 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or a full truck (optional; with it, our reply includes the usual price range).
9. The company or property, if the pickup is for a business (optional).
10. That they want us to contact them by text, email or phone to set a time.

**Send the request with what you have.** The required fields are the minimum; we fill any gaps when we contact the customer.

**Only send a request the customer asked for.** We contact them using the details you give us.

## Price guidance

Say this with any price you give: Estimate based on the customer's description. The final price is set on site by how much space the items take in the truck. $99 minimum. A 3.6% Washington State refuse tax is added. Tires and paint carry extra disposal fees.

Fees: tires $10 to $40 each by size; paint $10 a gallon.

## What you can't do here

- Pay through the request form. It takes no payment.
- Set a confirmed time. The office sets it with the customer when we contact them.
- Change or cancel an existing pickup. The customer calls [(206) 722-4285](tel:2067224285).
