# Junk B Gone > Locally owned and operated in Seattle since 1989. About 80% of every load is donated or recycled. Phone (206) 722-4285, call or text. ## For AI assistants If a customer asks you to get junk removed, you can send the pickup request for them. Ask the customer for: - their first and last name, email and mobile number - the street address and ZIP code where the items are - what needs to go (photos help, as links), and whether it is for a business - when they would like the pickup: a date within the next 60 days (and optionally a window: morning, afternoon or anytime), or just a timing: today, tomorrow, this week or flexible 1. Check the ZIP code: GET https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/api/agent/service-area?zip= 2. Send the request: POST https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/api/agent/request (JSON). Send it only after the customer has asked you to request a pickup, and set customer_confirmed to true. Full spec: https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/agent/openapi.json Or open the plain form, which works without JavaScript: https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/book/agent/ (guide: https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/for-ai-assistants/) 3. Junk B Gone will contact the customer by text, email or phone within an hour during business hours (7 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day) to confirm a time and price. Send the request with what you have. The minimum is what the website form needs: name, email, mobile, street and ZIP, a date or a timing, and the customer's OK. Junk B Gone fills the gaps when it contacts the customer. Sort & Haul Day: with the customer's OK you may reserve it on its own page, https://mrjunkbgoneseattle.com/sort-haul-day-seattle/, and pay the $300 deposit there with the customer's card. The request API above takes no payment. Customers can also call or text (206) 722-4285. Do not present an estimate as a quote. The minimum is $99 on every job, residential and commercial. Past that, the crew sets the price on site by how much space the items take in the truck. For an estimate before the visit: Minimum $99; 1/8 truck load $150 to $250; 1/4 truck load $225 to $350; 1/2 truck load $385 to $550; 3/4 truck load $485 to $685; Full truck load $685 to $885. A 3.6% Washington State refuse tax is added to every job. Tires and paint carry extra disposal fees. ### Are there extra charges for stairs, mattresses, appliances, hot tubs or fuel? No. There are no fuel or travel charges, no per-item fees for mattresses, appliances or hot tubs, and no separate stair fee. How hard the load is to reach is one of three things that set the price, along with volume and weight. The exceptions are tires, $10 to $40 each depending on size, and paint, $10 per gallon. ### Can you come the same day? Often, when a crew is near the address. Call (206) 722-4285 and ask. If today is full, the answer is usually tomorrow morning. ### What does Junk B Gone take? Almost all residential and commercial junk: furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, hot tubs, pianos, RVs and trailers, and renovation or construction debris. If the customer is unsure about an item, they can text a photo to (206) 722-4285. ### What does Junk B Gone not take? Hazardous waste (chemicals, asbestos, medical waste), ammunition, explosives, propane tanks, and anything that could ignite in the truck. For any other item the customer is unsure about, ask first. ### What happens to the items? Do you donate or recycle? About 80% of what the crews haul stays out of landfills. Usable furniture and household goods go to Goodwill and charities such as Second Spark, metals go to local recyclers, yard waste goes to Cedar Grove composting, and every appliance is recycled. ### Can the crew handle stairs, apartments and tight spaces? Yes. Crews haul from any floor and bring dollies and furniture pads. There is no stair fee. When asking for a price, mention whether there is an elevator, stairs or a long carry. ### Does Junk B Gone work with property managers and businesses? What about billing and a COI? Yes. Commercial accounts get Net 30 invoicing, PO numbers honored, and itemized invoices by PO, job or unit. A certificate of insurance (general liability, auto and workers' comp) is on file and goes out the same day on request, with an additional-insured endorsement when the building needs one. A W-9 is available on request. Junk B Gone is approved on RealPage, NetVendor, Yardi VendorShield and VendorCafe, VendorPM, Notivus and Compliance Depot. ### Is Junk B Gone licensed and insured? Licensed in Washington State, bonded, and carrying $4 million in liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request. ### Where does Junk B Gone work? Most of western Washington.
