Half the swingsets we pull out are in Bellevue and Sammamish — the bigger lots that came with the houses people bought when their kids were five. The kids are at WSU now and the swingset hasn’t been touched since the pandemic. The metal frames rust through fast in Pacific Northwest weather, and the wooden ones develop a slick green moss layer on every horizontal surface.
Most metal swingsets are bolted into concrete footings 12-18 inches deep — we bring a Sawzall and a portable jack. Wooden ones (Rainbow, Cedar Summit, Backyard Discovery) come apart at the brackets if you have the original instructions, or we’ll cut them down on-site if you don’t. Either way, the metal goes to our private King County recycling partners and the cedar gets sorted out for reuse where the wood is still sound.
We sweep the area, fill the post holes with the dirt you’ve got nearby, and leave the lawn ready to mow. You won’t know the swingset was ever there in two weeks of growth. Call (206) 722-4285 or text us a photo for a quick quote.
Trampoline rusting next to the swing set? See our trampoline removal service.
Text us a photo and we'll have a firm quote back in 15 minutes.
Disassembly is included. We bring the Sawzall, ratchet set, post-hole shovel, and the flatbed. You point us to the swingset and we handle the rest — concrete footings, slides, climbing walls, the works.
From rusty metal A-frames to elaborate cedar play structures — here's what we take apart and haul out:
Bolted, welded, or rusted into the lawn — we cut what we can't unbolt.
Rainbow, Cedar Summit, Gorilla, Backyard Discovery. We know the brackets.
Plastic slides, monkey bars, climbing walls — sorted for recycling vs. landfill.
Got a swingset? You probably have a trampoline too. See trampoline removal.
Yes, even the elaborate ones. We bring chainsaws and a flatbed.
Most swingset legs are set in concrete. We dig them out or bust them up so the lawn grows back even.
The kids are gone. You want a fire pit, a hot tub, or just lawn. The swingset is in the way. We pull it out, fill the holes, and you can hire your landscaper next week.
Your realtor said the swingset isn't helping the listing photos. We can usually clear it before the photographer shows up — call us first thing in the morning, gone by lunch.
Pacific Northwest windstorms take down sun-rotted wooden swingsets every fall. If the structure is unsafe to climb on, we do the demo work safely (hard hats, tarps) and haul it away. No insurance claim hassles.
Call before 11 AM, tell us it's for a real-estate photo shoot, and we'll usually have it gone by lunch.
Disassembly included
We bring the Sawzall, ratchet, and post-hole shovel. You don't need to lift a wrench.
Concrete footings? No problem.
Most franchise outfits charge extra to dig out concrete. We don't — it's part of the quote.
Yard left mow-ready
We rake the area, fill the holes, and leave the lawn ready to seed or mow.
Three steps. Most swingsets come down in 60-90 minutes.

Text it to (206) 722-4285. We’ll have a quote back to you in 15 minutes.

Sawzall, ratchet, post-hole shovel, flatbed. Most swingsets come down in 60-90 minutes.

Holes filled, area swept, ready for whatever's next.
A 12-foot wooden play structure with a roof, two swings, a slide, and a fort underneath weighs over 1,000 pounds — and most of it is bolted into concrete you can’t see. We have torn down play sets in tight Bellevue side yards, on Sammamish Plateau hillsides, and through gates barely wide enough for a wheelbarrow.
Standard metal A-frame in an open backyard? Two crew, 60 minutes, gone. Custom-built cedar fort with a tin roof and a sandbox underneath? Four crew, chainsaw, flatbed, dolly. We have seen every variant in 35 years.
We are not a franchise with an 800 number. We are your neighbors — a local Seattle company since 1989 with crews you will see every time. Our pricing is transparent: the on-site quote covers labor, disassembly, concrete removal, hauling, and recycling. No surprise fees when the structure turns out to be heavier than expected.
The swingset isn't doing anyone any good rusting in the corner. Call before noon and we can usually be there the same day.
When the crew is at your place with the truck, we haul whatever else has been waiting in the yard:
If it's in your yard and you want it gone, we'll take it. Call (206) 722-4285 or text us a photo for a quick quote.
Most junk removal companies show up with a trailer hitched to a pickup or a small 10-yard dump truck. Our fleet runs full-size 20-yard trucks with a 16×12-foot bed — 60% more room than the competition.
More capacity means your whole project fits in one load. No second trip charges, no "we'll have to come back tomorrow." You get the same work done for less.
We disassemble it ourselves. We bring the tools, the crew, and the truck — you don’t have to lift a wrench. Most metal swingsets come apart with a Sawzall and a ratchet set; wooden ones (Rainbow, Cedar Summit, Gorilla, Backyard Discovery) come apart at the brackets.
Included. Most swingsets have 12-18 inch concrete footings — we dig them out (or bust them up if they’re too big to lift). The hole gets filled with the surrounding dirt before we leave.
We’re careful, but a little turf disruption is unavoidable when you’re pulling steel out of dirt. We rake and fill the area when we’re done. Most lawns recover with two weeks of normal growth.
All in scope. Plastic slides, climbing walls, sandboxes underneath, treehouses, the whole structure — we plan for it on the quote.
$99 minimum. Most metal swingsets run a single-load price; large wooden play structures can be more depending on size and access. We give a firm price on-site before we start — free on-site estimate.
Steel goes to our private King County metal recycling partners. Cedar and pressure-treated wood get sorted — sound boards go to charitable organizations like Second Spark or local repurposers, the rest goes to the dump. Plastic slides are usually landfill, unfortunately, but we recycle what’s actually recyclable.
Usually yes if you call before 11 AM. Tell us it’s for a listing photo session and we’ll prioritize it.
Yes. Hard hats, tarps, careful breakdown. We’ve cleared more than one tree-on-swingset situation across King County.
