What Happens When We Arrive
First the crew lead looks over everything on your list and works out how each piece leaves the house. Kirkland Junk Removal FAQ
What does junk removal cost in Kirkland?
The minimum in Kirkland is $145. Above that, the price depends on how much of the truck your things fill. We look at everything in person, free, and give you one firm number that covers the labor, the loading, the hauling and the dump fees. Paint is $10 per gallon, and tires add a small fee; you hear about both before we start.
How soon can you get to me?
Usually within a day or two, and often the same day. Our trucks are in Kirkland every day, so a morning call or text can turn into an afternoon pickup. For a full-house or estate cleanout, give us a little notice so we can send a bigger crew.
Can you get a weight machine, safe or piano out of an upstairs room?
Yes. Many Kirkland houses are split-levels or have bonus rooms over the garage, so stairs are routine for us. We bring dollies, straps and tools, take machines apart where that is safer, and protect the walls and floors on the way out. Tell us the item when you book so the right crew comes.
I live in a downtown Kirkland condo. Do you work with building rules?
Yes. Send us your building's move-out hours, the elevator booking and where trucks can load, and we schedule around them. If the building asks for a certificate of insurance, we send it before the job.
Where will the truck park downtown or near the lake?
A driveway, a garage spot or the curb in front of the house is best. Streets near the waterfront and the downtown blocks fill up, so tell us about parking when you book, and if you can, save us a space close to the door.

Do I have to be home, or move anything to the curb?
Neither. The crew carries everything out from wherever it is, including the basement, the attic and the backyard. Someone can let us in for you, or you can leave the garage open and approve the price by phone. If the estimate does not work for you, there is nothing to pay.
Will you take yard debris and hot tubs?
Yes. We clear branches and brush after a windstorm, old fencing and decks, and hot tubs from backyards and decks. Drain the tub and turn off its power first, or ask us to handle the disconnect for an added fee.
Where do my things go after you haul them?
Usable furniture and household goods are donated to Goodwill and charitable organizations like Second Spark. Appliances, metal and electronics are recycled. About 80% of what we pick up is donated or recycled, and only the rest goes to the landfill.
