Need to get rid of old hard drives, servers, or sensitive files? We make it easy with secure, compliant, and eco-friendly data destruction—done right, right here in Seattle. Whether it’s one device or an entire data center, your information stays protected every step of the way.
Junk B Gone was amazing; I used them for an apartment downsize for a cross country move - mostly furniture but also some electronics. Protip, if you have old batteries then have them haul them away - no need to take them somewhere for disposal! They stopped by a week before to provide an estimate (you need to request this). Their rates were about HALF of that blue-truck-800-company, the movers were professional and packed everything like Tetris blocks (important as the charge depends on how full the truck is) and all customer service issues were addressed handily. They’re A+ all around.

I can't say enough good things about this service. It was fast, easy, and affordable. I was honestly dreading figuring out how we were going to get rid of all of the random things that needed taking care of, and they were able to help with all of it. 10/10 would use again or recommend to anyone looking for yard/junk/recycling/electronics/etc removal/recycling services.

Data destruction is the process of permanently deleting information stored on digital media—like hard drives, SSDs, servers, backup tapes, and more—so it can never be recovered. We’re not talking about dragging files to the recycle bin or doing a basic factory reset. We mean physically or digitally wiping it out, completely. It’s the only way to truly protect sensitive data from getting into the wrong hands.
In a world where data breaches are headline news, data destruction isn’t optional—it’s critical. Whether you’re dealing with customer records, medical files, or internal company data, secure disposal is the last line of defense. It protects your reputation, keeps you legally compliant, and helps avoid massive fines from privacy violations like HIPAA, FACTA, or GDPR.
When done right, data destruction also protects the environment. Tossing devices into the trash or leaving them in storage isn’t just risky—it’s wasteful. We make sure the entire process is safe and sustainable by recycling electronics and responsibly disposing of hardware once the data is gone for good.
We proudly serve businesses and organizations across Seattle with secure, compliant, and hassle-free data destruction services. Whether you’re a local clinic, a law firm downtown, or a school in the suburbs, we tailor our services to match your industry’s compliance needs. From HIPAA to GLBA and FERPA, we ensure your data is destroyed the right way—no risks, no loose ends.
Whether you're a startup with a few laptops or a large enterprise with racks of outdated servers, we’ve got scalable data destruction solutions that grow with you. We help businesses protect sensitive customer data, internal records, and intellectual property. From one-time purges to ongoing services, we make sure your business stays secure and compliant—without disrupting your workflow.
Medical records aren’t just confidential—they’re legally protected. That’s why our destruction process follows strict HIPAA compliance standards every step of the way. We work with clinics, hospitals, dental offices, and labs to securely destroy patient files, EHR backups, and devices containing PHI. Protect your patients. Stay audit-ready. Avoid massive fines.
Banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and tax offices handle loads of sensitive data every day. We help you stay compliant with GLBA and safeguard financial information through certified hard drive destruction and data wiping. When it’s time to retire old equipment, we make sure no trace of account data is left behind.
Student records, test scores, and administrative data require just as much care as medical or financial files. We work with K-12 schools, colleges, and universities to ensure FERPA compliance is met during the disposal of outdated systems and storage media. Whether it’s a single laptop or an entire campus server room, we’ll make sure the data is truly gone.
From legal case files to public agency archives, government and legal sectors can’t afford data mishandling. Our team understands the high-stakes nature of public data and delivers secure, traceable, and fully certified destruction. Plus, we maintain chain-of-custody documentation for full accountability from pickup to final disposal.
Getting rid of sensitive data doesn’t have to be complicated. We’ve simplified the entire process into four easy steps—so you can protect your information without stress, delays, or uncertainty. Retiring an entire rack or server room? No problem. We offer full-service decommissioning for servers, switches, backup appliances, and more—safely and efficiently. Great for IT refreshes, moves, or shutdowns.

Pricing depends on a few things: the volume of devices, the type of data, and whether you need onsite or offsite service. Large-scale or enterprise jobs are quoted individually. We always offer upfront estimates with no hidden fees.
