Last weekend, we were east of the Cascade mountains just outside of Seattle near Cle Elum to help a customer remove a motorhome from their property where a tree had fallen on it and damaged the RV beyond repair.
Our team showed up Saturday morning and began working to remove the RV, which required some specialized tools and equipment to break apart the RV into pieces to fit into our Junk B Gone dump trucks.
Often times when we arrive, the RV is unable to be moved due to the location it’s stored or in this case the motorhome itself was inoperable and couldn’t be moved.
The first step was to make sure the RV was safe for removal, which required us to ensure the electricity was turned off, remove the propane tanks and lines and make sure all of the other mechanical systems were disabled.
Next, we began to cut the RV into pieces and loaded them up in the back of our truck:
After we had the RV broken down, we were able to transport the RV offsite to recycle the remainder of the RV including the frame and engine.
