Frequently asked
Whole-home junk removal questions Seattle homeowners ask
How much does a whole-house junk removal cost?
It depends on how much we haul — volume is what drives the price, not the number of rooms. Tell us about the job and we'll give you an honest ballpark on the phone. When the crew arrives, they walk the house with you and confirm the exact price before any work begins. You're never billed for more than we agreed to.
Can you really clear the entire house in one visit?
For the large majority of homes, yes. Our trucks carry a full house's worth in a single load, and we send a crew sized to the job. If a home is unusually packed, we'll tell you up front whether it's one visit or two so there are no surprises.
Do I have to move anything to the curb first?
No. That's the whole point — you point at what goes and our crew does the lifting and carrying, from wherever it sits. Attic, basement, back of the garage, upstairs bedroom — we come to the item, not the other way around.
How soon can you come?
Usually within the same week, and often within a day or two. If you're working against a closing date or a move-out, tell us and we'll do our best to fit your timeline. We work weekends across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
What happens to everything you haul away?
We sort it. Usable furniture and household goods go to charitable organizations like Second Spark. Metal, appliances, and electronics get recycled. Only what's genuinely trash goes to the transfer station — we don't take the landfill shortcut.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Junk B Gone is fully licensed in Washington State, bonded, and carries general liability plus workers' comp. We can email proof of insurance before we arrive — a common request for condo and HOA buildings.
Is this the same company that's been around for decades?
Same locally owned Junk B Gone, serving the Seattle area since 1989 — 35 years, same family, same crews. When you call, you reach a real Seattle dispatcher, not a national call center.
