Junk B Gone was amazing; I used them for an apartment downsize for a cross country move - mostly furniture but also some electronics. Protip, if you have old batteries then have them haul them away - no need to take them somewhere for disposal! They stopped by a week before to provide an estimate (you need to request this). Their rates were about HALF of that blue-truck-800-company, the movers were professional and packed everything like Tetris blocks (important as the charge depends on how full the truck is) and all customer service issues were addressed handily. They’re A+ all around.

Junk B Gone has the largest trucks in the industry, with 14-16 foot truck beds while our competitors all have 8-10 foot truck beds.  Why does this translate to lower prices?

Fewer Trips – Since we can fit 2x the amount of junk in one of our trucks, it means we take more in fewer trips.  This means less time on the road, less time waiting at the recycle facility or donation center (and those lines can be LONG).  Bigger trucks means lower prices, it just makes sense!

Less Labor – Our team is built to be efficient at removing your junk quickly and economically, and because our trucks are 2x the size of our competition we spend less labor per job.  This translates into big savings for you!

Less Gas or Diesel – We take 50% fewer trips than our competitors do, which means we spend 50% less than they do on gasoline at $4.80 per gallon!  Less gas equals more savings!

Better for the Environment!  At the end of the day, taking fewer trips means we’re on the road less than our competitors and that’s better for everybody.

Before we begin any junk removal task, our team conducts a thorough on site assessment of the items you wish to dispose of. Why do you provide on site quotes versus over the phone?

We’ve been doing this since 1989 and have found that there are always surprises when we show up to the job site, sometimes this leads to a lower price than we would have thought but most often it leads to a higher price.  Instead of providing you a lowball quote on the phone and then raising the price when we come onsite like many of our competitors do, we will come to you and provide a free, no obligation quote after assessing the size, location, weight and loading conditions of the items you want removed.  If you approve of the quote we’ll remove the items the same visit.

How do you determine your prices?

You pay based on the amount of room that your items occupy in our truck and their weight, so a truck full of styrofoam will cost less to remove than a truck full of bricks or construction materials.  Additionally, easy to load conditions where we can back our truck right up to the items versus removing from a five story apartment with only stairs (which we’ve done!) will affect the amount of labor required to load your items and therefore will affect the price.
